Good underground Hip Hop becomes mainstream, that's what happened to people like Wiley and Eminem/D12. Only the lucky ones get the easy way into mainstream. Personally Lil' Wayne isn't exactly the best rapper, as if you compare with him in Lollipop Remix, you realise how much better Kanye West is:
