i've been told it's right horrible so i'm staying away. they lost it during the resistance, which was only JUST passable with a few standout tracks. the one's i've heard as preview tracks from this new LP sound bad. that's it from me!

anyway, basement (ipswich uk) released their latest LP today, "colourmeinkindness", which i am all over.

eh, well my mum's a hardcore muse fan but she really likes the new ones. I maen, it was the same with me and Coldplay's latest album - I was unsure of it at first because I didn't like the songs but the more I listened the more I enjoyed it.

I heard similar things, but I've given it a go after being somewhat disappointed with "The Resistance" and I've actually been pleasantly surprised with how good it is. It's not on the Origins or Absolution scale, but I think it gives Black Holes and Revelations a good run for it's money despite being different in styles. Supremecy, Survival, Madness, The 2nd Law: Isolated System, Save Me and Big Freeze are my favourites from the album already, with the rest of them being 'so-so'.

In addition to The 2nd Law: Isolated System, which I think is an interesting little piece, I've been going back to Pendulum's non-album stuff.. Spiral, Still Grey and Out There have been on my playlist a lot recently..
