The Sontaran are confirmed to be returning.

Should be excellent, remember them from the first time round... now with added special effects (rather than a deformed pizza flopped on their heads   ;D  )

Anyone else want Richard E Grant for the next Doctor?? He did a stint at the Doctor for a one-off "Cry of the Rakshee" before they announced they were bringing the Doctor back.

He was awesome!

I'm obsessed at the moment with 'The Invasion'. I just cant stop watching it! Also, I've noticed that there's something about the B&W eps that isn't in the new ones. I dont quite know what but theres something about them that makes them special and I dont think it could be achieved in the new eps. Not with all the CGI anyway. Also, the stories in the Patrick Troughton era are absolutely amazing! There hasn't been one dull episode and I think they have the best storylines out of the whole of doctor who (yes even the new ones). Sometimes, I wish the people who dont bother with the old series at all would watch the 60s eps and appreciate how great it was, even though they had cardboard sets!

Who agrees?

I do agree, without the special effects they concentrated on story much more, although my favourite Doctor is Tom Baker.. I know.. it's shameful.

You have to actually WATCH the original Doctor Who series to appreciate that the new series isn't as amazing as you think.. Doctor Who is GENERAL is amazing!!

Thanks, sorry - it was about 3/4 years ago wasn't it! Was too tired to check!

And thank you Snagar for your constructive criticism, I'm sure you knew that didn't you?

Less of that. Have you read the rules? There was absolutely no need to insult him in that way.. he didn't do anything to hurt you, and he only made a slight error. Consider this a warning.

And don't be a suckup.

It was great, especially when he figures out who he is.

Has anyone seen the picture of the Sontaran for the 2008 episodes?

I loved it... "You were my Doctor!" It was beautiful stuff.

Also - John Barrowman confirmed he's back next series!

I thought it was great. I wasn't sure how they were going to fit it in at the end of last series, but they managed to fit it in between shots.

It was very well made, and some good comedy again from David as usual and from Peter. Loved how he said 'Oh and Doctor! Don't forget to put your sheilds up' and then the Titanic comes bursting through. xD

YEY  Jack's back  Again.  I wonder what will happen next time they meet.  I would imagine it be for one episode or a two parter where they encounter jack and he helps as he has his team at torchwood.  Maybe the team helps?
I liked the children in need episode which if people didn't watch it's on the bbc website  i'll get the link in a bit and i like the way that they just run past each other at the begging and not notice theres somebody else in the TARDIS
