Probably my favourite RTD episodes to date... rather spiffy. Loved the drum thing, loved the idea of the "toclafane", and that thar master was made of win. 
Though Last Of The Time Lords was a bit meh. So I tend to skip it when rewatching.

I think Sarah overreacts for someone who only had a quick brush with the Daleks once. o.o It was once, right? Just Genesis? Then again, considering it sounds like they've all seen the millions of ships in the sky, things would look pretty grim.

Still, lack of faith in the Doctor. >= Unless it's after THAT scene...

*lol* I think it's a case of the truth being bent slightly here as to make the episode more exciting. While I'm not sure how many run-ins Sarah Jane has had with the Daleks, the fact that shes now over 40 & still not dead probably means that the can't be worth quaking in fear over...

Plus what about Captain Jack? He can't die... surely that's got to be an advantage? Stop being camp and make a plan!

Have you seen them lately? The Messiah like effect with the doctor when he was 900 years old and look like doblin? Or ripping apart the void just to put a junk load of daleks inside it?(with a hint of cyberman.) Or even even wiping out the entire fleet of darleks thanks to rose! (with a very steamy kiss may i ask.)

To be honest, that 'uber-Doctor' trick almost completely turned me off from Tenant's Doctor.. it's all too easy to use the "he's an alien therefore he can do anything" trick & I feel that was a really weak ending following such a good build up. I'd have preferred it if the Doctore had escaped from a 'little shop' in the hangar...

Allthough.. that episode does raise one question.. since when does a Timelord CHOOSE to regenerate.. is this new to the series (from memory I can't recall this being mentioned before).. and also they can choose their form? The Master states "that if you can be young and strong, then so can I" and promptly regenerates into a younger body...

If this is the case.. why Colin Baker?

Actually, Romana chose to regenerate. I think Sarah Jane has had 2, Day of the Daleks as well i think. Or Death to the Daleks. One or other.

Romana's regeneration 'scene' is pretty funny. She tries on about half a dozen different faces, each of them an old villain or familiar ally, none of them the Doctor particularly likes (or they're too tall/short compared to him), before settling on using the face of a previous character.

That's exactly what I thought. He can't regenerate yet! He's too awesome!

Felt sorry for Rose through most of it, and potentially losing the Doctor she knew only seconds after seeing him again.

Never seen that 'TO BE CONTINUED!' thing before, tis epic looking XD

This coming week will be the longest week ever.

I have a theory, if Tennant is supposed to stay. Then maybe Rose could go all Bad Wolf and reverse it or something. Maybe will power will come into this.
