Well a load of news has come through about the next series of Doctor Who, featuring Matt Smith and Karen Gillan.

- Filming has started, so if you're a mental fan, you'll drive around the streets of Cardiff until you find them on set. =p

- The companion will be known as Amy Pond

- The Doctor's new look has been revealed...

...it looks like something my Grandpa would have worn...though its Doctor Who so he gets away with it. ^^

Yes.

I am not at all impressed with the new look... I was hoping for something far darker

Now thats were i wasn't. I'm pretty glad its quite old and light. For i have heard that the series was going to be really dark and i was dreading it. But now it seems it was all just talk.

it seems that the doctors get younger but their clothes get older q:

I was expecting something darker as well, but hey ho :v
if it's anything like the previous moffat episodes then i'll be a happy bean.

also I just misread "Amy Pond" as "An iPod". TWICE.

Very undecided on the outfit. I miss Tennant's outfit. T.T

This series is going to make me sad...
Matt Smith totally doesn't look the part, the writing is going to take a massive dive, 'Amy Pond' is a name reserved for a CBeebies presenter and The Doctor should be good-looking not... Well... That. *points at Smith*

I can't believe everyone's slating him before he's actually done any filming. We haven't actually seen him in character yet. << I think, like all the previous Doctor's...he'll be fantastic! They were very careful about who they picked, so I would expect good things from him. =p

... You think Tom Baker was good-looking?

Come on. Only 1 or 2 of the doctors have been attractive.

Exactly, he's got to be better than the last one. IMO David Tennant was an awful doctor, hence why I don't really watch it anymore.

I wish him the best of luck with it =]

I think he will succeeded and if he doesn't they could always draft me in to play him.
