I didn't mind too much about the Angels this time... We even got a few more River Song answers... Even more questions though.

I could have done with a few answers though... Like why she apparently killed her own husband.

Or better yet... What is the Pandorica and why does the mere mention of it make a man who laughed at the Cyberking wet himself in terror?

The Vampire one was alright, had it's ups and downs. The next one looks really good.

Haha, gilbert! I mean, alex price.
With his space fish mummy.
"Mummy, what's wrong with your perception filter?" is now my favourite line from anything ever.

The rest of the episode was okay. Special effects amused me, as did the big costumes. Did I mention gilbert?

Episode made me feel sorry for Rory, mainly.. I mean, more so than usual.. just.. bless him |:
"WE.. ARE.. VENICIAN! -boom-" wins a few points as well.

not a favourite episode.. not terrible, either.
In fact my favourite episodes thus far are still one and two, har.

Next week's does look spiffy though.
Army of angry pensioners? With zimmer frames and axes? Rory with a ponytail? Random ice? A "Dream Lord"? Mindscrew, bizarre things, reality getting mixed up with confusion and unreal worlds?
I.. really hope it won't be disappointing.. harr.

Ah, KNEW I recognised him from somewhere! And I personally preferred "...Did you just say something about Mummy?" xD

And yeah, next week looks awesome. "If you die in the dream, you wake up in reality. Ask me what happens if you die in reality."
"What happens?"
"You die, stupid, that's why it's called reality."

Haha, brilliant, can't wait!

Near perfect, wonderfully filmed and did not look cheap whatsoever. Shows this series does a lot more then RTD ever did. The vampires look sexy, the fish people looked good and the boyfriend provided decent comedy. Only slag is the Doctor just pulling a switch to stop the storm. Would of looked better if was ripped out wires and such in a desperate struggle, not knowing if it ll work or not.

But yeah, well betterly paced then the Dalek episode.

But it was a struggle. He couldn't shut it down, they had to rip out wires and it still didn't shut down, he had to climb the tower and open the box and STILL didn't know how to turn it off, the switch was kind of a blind last-ditch idea.

May I just say that I hugely approve of the clockwork machinery thing in the.. storm thing?
Clockwork/steampunk/backwards futuristic makes me happy, generally.. and even though this wasn't a Moffat episode [like with his TARDIS/girl in the fireplace drones/starship UK designs].. that was a rather spiffy touch c:
as well as the doctor having those goggles on at the start, huzzaaaah~
..what? >>

Near perfect, wonderfully filmed and did not look cheap whatsoever.

Weirdly, this was one of the episodes where I was really very aware of the sfx.. particularly when the doctor was on top of the building trying to stop the.. storm machine thing.. and also the fish monsters looking amusingly out of place.
Dunno why I noticed things this episode in particular.
But no, wouldn't say it looked cheap
Just.. quoting this bit because it's one of the episodes where I've gone "..well that looks a bit CGI, hur"
I'm such an oddball.

And of course period drama costume almost ALWAYS makes me amused.

Mmm.. the putting-hands-over-people's-mouths-to-shut-them-up scene was a bit swish.
Cheese and biscuits.

Ah, KNEW I recognised him from somewhere! And I personally preferred "...Did you just say something about Mummy?" xD

And yeah, next week looks awesome.

Pretty much any line involving francesbert saying "mummy", then q:
"Well, we mustn't interrupt Mummy when she's hydrating."

[also, he's the voice of Series 5's confidential and I never even noticed until this week xD]

and.. and I do hope it will be good.. I was rather looking forward to the dalek episode [daleks! WWII! daleks serving tea! Winston bloody churchill!] and it was a bit.. ehh
well, it wasn't a bad episode, but I must have been expecting something a bit EXTRAORDINARY.
that'll teach me to get my hopes up.
..
THIS NEXT EPISODE WILL PROBABLY BE RUBBISH |:
there

i've really grow disinterested in DW now. I thought; yeah, Smith is gonna be okay maybe, but Amy... just turns me off. If it was a different companion not as... slutty as her i'd watch it.

No, I agree.. I was a bit "|:" at first [i mean, she's fanservicey, but so are.. a lot of characters in a lot of things, harr].. then I started to slooowly like her.
Until the end of "Flesh and Stone", anyway. was a bit... i'm sorry, what the hell? o.o

Face rape! And.. trying to undress him while he tried to escape, hur.
piff, even Jack never did that :v
I'm sure it's a humorous and light-hearted scene but.. come on, swap the genders and more people might find it creepy than just me >>

Don't worry, i'm not going to stand up and go "this is a DISGRACE!" or.. whatever it might be.
sexual assault is funny, kids!
Just.. unnerved a bit, haar.
So no I don't like her any more.
On the plus side, congrats to Moffat for finally freaking me out with one of his episodes! Didn't take that long.

I keep watching because I'm too much of a fan to stop.. besides, I like Moffat's writings, and it's entertaining.

Wouldn't mind if Amy was replaced with Rory, though. Somehow.
I like Rory.. he's a bit useless.
Arthur Darvill might be a tiny bit fanciable.. damn.
And bless, I liked his Confidential jumper

These are sensible reasons to watch a programme, shh you.

Halfwit... swap the genders and it would stop being funny, yes; but why? Maybe there's a reason why it's more acceptable for her to do it to The Doctor.

And actually, i think the 'sluttiness' as some of you have put it is quite fitting given her character's age and good looks, coupled with the fact that she was about to be married. I mean... she liked the Doctor 2 years ago and he vanished so ending her relationship in favour of him never happened.

Now she's about to be married and he turns up again... she likes him more than her fiance but knows the Doctor would never be hers. Instead she decides she'd have one night with him before she is committed to the guys she CAN have.

Actually a pretty natural (if rather bad) decision given the circumstances.
