Granted, you become close friends and your parrot talks with you every night. Now that you're closer together your parrot reveals his secret mission to rid the world of Chaos forces seeping in from the Nether world and threatening mankind. Leaving you with no choice but to leave your life behind and travel the world to help your parrots' crusade. You drain the blood of Chaos' fallen warriors to grant you their dark magic and use it against them. Before long you become corrupted by magic and you skin flakes from your body leaving a mass of organs and bones and muscle, eternally bleeding until at last you are destroyed by your own parrot as it tries desperately to save what little humanity you have left.......etc. This could've been avoided if you just left the parrot alone.
