set the halls firealarm off by mistake (i was cooking) got told off by the firefighter guy and that was it till i got back and it started going off again, you have afew secs to get it off before the fire brigade get called

when i managed to get it off i was a compleat nervous reck, shaking really badly. i think i may still be in shock

University stuff again =[

I seem to be losing way too much sleep about this, but it is a pretty important decision which will affect the next 4 years or so, and also whatever job I may have afterwards. It seems pretty stupid, but it's really getting me down. It's not just me though; quite a few others I know, including my boyfriend, are in the same situation. Stuck between two courses, but you want to make the right choice. It wouldn't be as bad if there were universities that did both courses I want to do, but I can't actually find any, so each of my top 5 choices are different.

Also, I've been feeling pretty ill today and that's really not helping.

Hilarious! Aren't fire alarms in kitchens designed to deal with...kitcheny fumes though? Seems like a very bad place to put them otherwise. :/

the ones in the kitchens detect heat (like when i opened the oven door, all the heat came out) the ones in the hallway detect smoke (you have to keep the door shut or the smoke will go into the hall and the alarm will go off)

are there really? what courses do you want to do? how far away are you looking, only ones close to home?

I was looking at both Robotics and Design Engineering, and couldn't find many universities that did them as Engineering courses rather than Science courses. I found one uni that seems to do both (Liverpool) but it's quite far away. I'm not looking majorly far away from home, probably no more than like 4 hours away from Bath. I have been doing a lot of research in the past few hours since my last post, and it's looking like I'm settling on Design Engineering. I think anyway. I hope I don't change my mind by tomorrow.

I'm feeling a bit better compared to earlier, now I'm just grumpy because I'm tired and have to get up for Physics tomorrow xP
