A step in the right direction.

Rex, to me, never really stopped being a staff member, so it's great to see that he is staff by name, as well as spirit.

Tim is an excellent choice anyone could have predicted, is say this because he's deserved this for a long, long time. (Perhaps a little too long).

i've wanted rex back on admin for a while, it's never fazed me that tim wasn't a moderator at some point because he always had halfop on irc.  oh well.  step in the right direction etc

Um, wow, I'm actually, yeaaaah, I think I'm going to do it.  I think.  I'm going to say somethin'.. serious? Yeah.

As a lot of you know I was an admin from a few years ago,  for more or less two years.  During that time I had a wonderful time, not just personally, but professional too - where it was fantastic to see this site continue to grow and attract new and great people while being more than good enough for ye olde members to stay.

Of course I wasn't always perfect, but then again I suppose not many of us can say that. Heh.    When I left mid 2008 it was on less than brilliant terms, for I blame no-one and put it behind me.  However for the next two years I did constantly doubt my place in the site and the community and the recent events sort of had a background where there was hostlity between my people including myself.

When I look back, some of what I did was unnecessary and immature.  I am a deeply sorry for that, though I still can't help feel guilty everytime I look back on it.  Please don't get me wrong, it wasn't for power I was intrested in, it was just a general unfeeling of unease that seem to sink into me.  Its faded away over the last few months, and now -- it feels I never left the admin post.  I feel touched and honoured to be here again.

But its part of growing up, if you can make up for your mistakes and avoid them in future the past is irreverent, if you can build bridges with someone, let hostility fade away as it belongs, then this is a part of being mature.  Learn Lessons, move on, attempt your best.

.. and this is what I'm going to do now.  I am within a wonderful team, of top people who I have the pleasure of knowing, Mike, Jeroen, Rob, PHIL., Alex, Stefan leading a team of a moderators of equally fantastic people of Lottie, Peter, Tim, Alex (Webbz) Lapras King/Ant, Dave, William/Mushroom and Barney.  And last no least, the members of PKMN.NET, many of you still here, many new ones, and many who are special to me - Claire, Muhed, Jessie,  those who I admire and consider top people - Dan Dan, Sam, Kay, Richard, The Other Richard, Loz,  Liam, Jen, and too many to same.

And I promise to try my best.  I cannot promise you a perfect performance, I cannot promise you that I'll get it right 100% (Hey don't worry, I am comptent! Or I'd like to hope)  but I can promise you to give a full effort in my duties, sfull effort into well being of the community and a full effort to be of value.
