I check my wallet to make sure everything is there, it is. "Alright, I'll buy this time."

"I won't argue with those offers."  I begin to follow Nikolai with a slouch and my hood up, ready to keep up my 'disguise' to throw off passersby.

//Hmmm.... Something seems odd about Siofra. Better investigate.//

"Don't reject, I have a good amount of money. The villagers where I'm from treat me like a hero, which I am. I saved the village."

I speed up, to a sort of jogging pace walk, and turn into a really long street, with buildings lined with neon-signs ((for comparison purposes; think Vegas)). "It's just down here. Oh, this is my favourite street"

"That's quite the achievement.  Mine burnt to the ground."

I don't take a moment to see Edan react; I'm too busy observing this new sight.  I've never seen a place like this before.  On postcards in cheap shops, perhaps, but not up close.

"Well.  Equinox is quite a mix of things, isn't it?"  I look up at Nikolai.  "This must be a busy place come nighttime.  And I can't even see the damage left from any duels here."

"Very few duels occur here, it's a peaceful end of town. This way." I turn into one of the buildings. The interior is predominantly cream & gold, with a large crystal chandelier in the lobby. "This restaurant here" I point to an Italian restaurant, named 'Calzone'. "Guess their speciality" I say, in a serious tone, although clearly joking.

"I could be sarcastic, but I'll choose not to." I respond, "Looks interesting."

"Certainly looks better than most of the restaurants I've snuck into."  I take another look around the street.  Maybe this was some kind of neutral ground that warlocks had.  I don't really know, since this kind of rivalry is something I haven't had the pleasure of observing in the countryside.

Before I walk in, I lure a few notes from a woman's purse as she walks by oblivious.  I slip them into my wallet before I look at Nikolai.  "Anything you'd recommend to eat?"

"Yes, I'd like to know as well. Also, any notice that Chloe hasn't said much?"

[Wolstenholme]

"Don't worry. I'm listening." I reassure the group. I'm tired - like exhausted.

^ I reach into myself and make my heart rate a little faster, to keep myself awake mostly. // How come I've never experimented with changing my appearance? Maybe I'm too obsessed with self-defense. Maybe I should try it! // Curious I reach all the way up to the top of my head and then out into my hair starting from the roots and pushing further away to the tips. I turn the very ends of my gold hair blue. It feels odd to be changing the colour of something like this. but I am satisfied. ^

"Hey, guys!" I say, excitedly. "You know all this stuff we're meant to be doing? I have an idea... I can change our appearances. What if it wasn't us that got caught in the act, but someone else?" I grin at them, hoping they get my drift.

I cringe a little at Chloe's suggestion.  I glare at her darkly.

"I shall manipulate my own appearance, thank you."  I turn away and face the restaurant.  "Besides, if things go well we won't get caught.  If we do, we're dead.  They might even call one of those old warlock meetings I've read about; a public execution.  Lovely thought, don't you think?"

"Delightful." I say, in a sarcastic dark way.

"As for recommendations, definitely try Lasagne Calzone, it's my favourite here." I say, as we walk to the entrance. I stop at the entrance, to give them time to read the menu outside

"Yes, quite joyous." I respond, also sarcastically. "Nikolai, I think I will try the Lasagne Calzone."

"Hm, I suppose I'll order the same."

A glance at the menu doesn't really inspire me much.  The only times I've been around a restaurant fancier than a pub was to pickpocket the people who went in and out.  Slim pickings here in the middle of the day, though.

I look through the menu to make sure that I've decided.

//Nothing really stands out. I've decided on the Lasagne Calzone.//

"So, what does everyone one think of the city?" I say in an awkward attempt to make small talk.
