I did some sprite recolouring that is a little bit better than my first attempt!

No one's commented on it but that's more of a first world problem!

 Man, me and my girlfriend went away for a few days towards East Wales and it was amazing ngl. Like, there was this arcade with a little claw grabber for tickets and the first time I jumped on one it happened to be the faulty one that doesn't register that something fell so I got a tonne of ticket stacks and we got about 2000 tickets on that night aha.

It was weird though because on the first day there, nothing was open? Like everything was closed and when we went to a pub everyone stopped what they were doing to watch us come in. Then when we got food, people kept watching us again. Was honestly half-expecting to find a Local Shoppe for local people. There was definitely something weird in the air.

Anyway, it's nice to actually be home and to have that familiarity again. Like, the hotel room was nice but it wasn't a proper room kinda thing. It was just a room with a bed in it.

I beat the rock type gym in emerald after so many attempts! The two Geodudes were fine Wingull took care of them! Then Nosepass had to be sent out! It was the same attempt where I said:

"I only need Beautifly and Wingull. The others can't do anything to them!"

And then Torchic (eventually, after nosepass ate an Oran berry and two potions) killed Nosepass from a burn!

Screw you, irony!

 Me and my friend went into the city today and played some Pokemon Go. The new gym rework is legitimately really nice too because it feels like there's more emphasis on playing as a group since you can feed the other Pokemon berries... which I guess keeps them in the gyms? We just sat at a gym and he tried taking it down whilst I tried keeping it up. Obvs there's no real PvP battling in there yet but it sorta felt like it and it was proper fun.

The meta just seems more alluring now. It's fun listening to the collective "REEEEEEEEEEEE" coming from Reddit too because everyone complaining there seems to take the gyms way to serious lol.
