I personally found it much easier to learn than french, just a matter of getting used to the harsh sounds.

I was supposed to be having a few drinks tonight at my granda's very late birthday party with the rest of the family but my gran now has to work tomorrow.

okay so i admit i never practiced my trumpet at all during the first week because i wanted to practice this week. I was out on monday and came home for dinner about 6pm ready to have a good practice. "no you can't i have a sore head"
I got this excuse from my mum pretty much everyday this week, even when it wasn't late or w/e. I have a mute but playing with tis irritating. My teacher expects my pieces to be amazing, how the hell can i do that if i'm not even allowed to practice at home? My teacher said i was sounding great before the holidays and i cba with another rant from her again. Hopefully i can practice today at least and every day next week :T if not then my mum can go visit my teacher and get screamed at.

I THINK I'M GOING TO GO INSANE. I'm going to try and stay up so late I have en excuse for not 'playing' with him NONSTOP like he wants me too.
Most of the time, even though I'm smiling and talking all nice i want to curse at him and slap him across the face, call him a perv, and stomp off. Then go to my room and lock the door. But I can't and it makes me SO angry.

And all my friends are out of town so there's no one to help me cope.
