I really thought this episode was about Susan's mother. I actually hoped that they would acknowledge that she is still alive. But it seemed OK, except when she didn't go with him. Jenny and Sally Sparrow would be preferred over the current companions, although Catt Tate isnt as bad as we thought she'd be, and for once no fancying the Doctor.

Phil has his theories on Jenny.

But!  Phil also has his crush; I thought this was a fantastic episode, really.  Loved Georgia Moffett and hope to see her again this series.  And again, Phil has his theories ... and yes, I know their sense of danger was limited and yes, I know the whole thing with the Hath and Martha wasn't very engaging ... but Georgia Moffett!

Yeah ...

Well, I thought Jenny (Genni?) was going to be created using the genes from the Doctor's spare hand.. but other than that, another win for me!

*lol* I liked this episode, when you consider how lonely the Doctor is & how much he's lost in his past the ending was an absolute emotional treat... though you may have to have suffered a little in your life to appreciate it.

My only quible is that they didn't need almost ANY of the Hath scenes.. to be honest I wanted more interaction between the Doctor, Donna & Jenny as this was the real meat of the episode. It felt to squeezed in with that Hath nonsense.

As for Jenny 'regenerating' at the end of the episode I was almost in tears saying "YOU B******'S I DIDN'T THINK YOU WERE GOING TOO... THANK JEEBUS". As I said, I got into it.  I hope it's more a new loose end & not a spinoff. Jenni Who? Nurse Who? Who cares! XD

I actually quite liked the Hath, scenes, they're what the Doctor Who series is there for... its not a soap opera, its a sci-fi/fantasy series, so it was good to see some new aliens there. And to be honest, I was a bit disappointed that the Doctor's "daughter" regenerated as such at the end... although it'll be good to see how she features towards the climax of the series.

Loads of DWM readers think the Rani's gonna feature in the fianle. Bah. But I worked out the murderer! Knew it soon as I knew the butler was proven not to be it.

I sure hope that that episode was a jokey one. I wasn't that impressed with the large wasp... originality out the window? Using the magnifying glass to injure it as well seemed a bit too conveinient.

Meh. But its entertainment though.

I don't think that it has been put up yet. I've looked, but it doesn't appear to be there.

I thought it was a very good episode, and enjoyed it. It was an excellent plot, and well acted as usual. When the first murder happened before the titles, I was saying 'The Wasp, with the Iron pole, Prof Peach, in the Library' in reference to Cluedo... Then Lol'ed when Donna said it later.

Next weeks looks a but random...

Didn't they already do a giant wasp thing on the second series of The Demon Headmaster?

Anyhoo, next week's ep looks great. Agatha Christie, murders and aliens. Good.

Not too bad this week. Though I did think it was a bit strange that someone could become pregnant by an insect  :tongue2:. Could have done without the giant wasp though. God I hate wasps.
