Topic: dex filler help! <3

hey so i'm rly close to filling the dex and junk but need some help with certain pokemon i've never been able to obtain haha

GEN 4: Shaymin
GEN 5: Landorus, Keldeo, Meloetta

any help would be greatly appreciated! I have almost all other Pokémon not listed here so I'll be willing to help you out the other way. I'm not looking to keep any of these Pokémon - just to add them to my dex to get the wonderful shiny charm!

Got Cottonee which you can keep, and I might have a petilil I'll have to check.

Got either a karrablast I can trade for a shelmet and you can keep the Escavalier, or we can trade and trade back my Escavalier.

Then I've got these, which I only have competitive ones so I'd need to get them back:
-> Porygon2
-> Arceus
-> Weavile
-> Magnezone
-> Genesect
-> Slurpuff (yeaaaah, I took the time to breed a competitive Slurpuff xD)

And I might have a gligar in my box, but you can get them in hordes on the route before Snowbelle

i've managed to avoid seeing any gligar but i'll have a look xP anything in particular you need? got a couple spare vivillon's (some purple one and the ocean one? idk their names), couple of spare legendaries, but they're all shoved away in bank so i'll have to go dig em out

also literally just found a petilil hiding in my bank smh

I don't need anything special, just fillers for the ones you're keeping and the ones you're not there's no reason for you to give me anything anyway xP I'll go get my DS now and check I do have them all still.

ok completed all of gen 1 and 6 and just need some help with the rest on the list. got myself a feebas i can evolve via trade and i tried to get the others but everyone wants a legendary or something ridiculous :l

Have you tried putting stuff up on the GTS instead of just looking? There's going to be others in the same position as you needing to get dex fillers, and you're likely to be the only one with a decent offer.

I have looked on the GTS but everyone wants legendaries - I've traded one or two off for ones I need but asking for an Arceus for your Cherrim? nah bro.

I will be putting stuff up but certain pokemon I haven't even seen so I don't know if I can ask for them :s and certain ones can't be traded over GTS (ie, Shaymin, Keldeo and Meloetta)

Ah, but that's the thing. They fixed it. You can ask for anything now, not just the ones you've seen. I believe that was how they discovered Hoopa, Diancie and Volcanion.

Event Pokémon like Shaymin, Keldeo and Meloetta are not required to get the Shiny Charm. I still need to catch the remaining Gen 5 legendaries myself, but I'll let you know when I have them.

yeah, cayse they're event mons, but it'd still be nice to have them on my dex though

also managed to get a hold of some more i was missing so the list has been updated.
