I'm still wondering what will come with Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. I'd like something like the Pokewalker again.

Not necessey Mega evoulations (although they may end up having them) but Kyroge and Groundon always had the lines on their body glow (check out the RS starting screens) they just seemed to be styled differently.

According to a press release they are confirmed to be "never before seen" versions of Kyogre and Groudon, which is apparently the same language used to describe megas, as well as Kyurem's formes, so while they could just be new formes, mega seems far more likely to me given its introduction this gen. The same release confirms it's definitely a remake, so I think we're supposed to ignore the ambiguous wording, we do have Hoenn.

Remember that wireless adaptors were a 'gimmick' released with FRLG, iirc, and so it seems fairly likely another gimmick device will be released like the poke walker.

I think we'll get some of:
-> A new postgame, be it Islands or a region
-> Battle Frontier
-> 'gimmick' device
-> A few new formes/megas/something
-> More Legendaries fitted in than in RSE (HGSS had a LOT of Legendaries)
-> More than one starter? (HGSS with the postgame starters sort of thing)

^Budew, Roserade, Rhyperior, Dusknoir, Probopass, Magnezone, and Chingling should definitely be a part of a new Hoenn Dex. Each of their respective pre evolved and evolved forms are in the Dex. They should also include a Shellos and Gastrodon with either a new form or both the East and West Sea forms which depends on what side of Mt Pyre you are on.

I am forced to agree with you regarding the part about Shellos.

Shellos was supposed to be added in Ruby and Sapphire, but, due to their time limit, it was not added. Perhaps now they have a chance to be the only National-Pokédex Pokémon that are able to be caught before obtaining the National Pokédex.

Yeah, just read that myself.  Makes them more likely to be mega evoulations.  Bit divaded, on one hand I'm sure I'll grow to love them, on the other, I thought Groundon & Kyroge were impressive already without having to jump to Super Saiyan form.

Yeah one thing I like about Megas is that they always feel totally optional. With 'real' evolutions I always feel like I should be evolving the Pokemon even when I don't. If Kyogre and Groudon's mega evos suck then it wouldn't really tarnish my enjoyment of them.

HGSS added evolved Pokemon to its Dex. Mamoswine, Ickyicky, Yanmega, Ambipom, and Tangrowth were added and the Johto Dex went from 251 to 256. So Shellos and the others I mentioned have a good chance to be added to the Hoenn Dex.
