Anyway, something that doesn't make sense to me still is Simpson's Paradox. It's basically saying that you can use the same batch of statistics to actually imply two contradicting things.

Sounds a lot like doublespeak if you ask me.

Something I find weird is that Americans call people in third world counties savage, yet we like to go into the woods, shoot an animal, and then have it stuffed to show to our colleagues as a sort of amusement.

Okay so it' actually 48 times but I found a snazzy YouTube video to explain for me.

If that's tl;dr basically it's about exponential growth because every time you fold the paper in half it doubles in size so all you have to do is keep multiplying the thickness of a sheet of paper by two until you reach a number the same size as the distance to the moon :)

Yeah, so basically what I said. That's one of those weird things that's just weird because it involves like...  two numbers that just sound really small that somehow end up equaling something massive. It's pretty cool.

2^48 * .1 mm (thickness of a sheet of paper) = 2.8*10^10 meters, and the distance between the earth and moon is 384.4 million meters (so 3.8 *10^8 meters) so something is off about that number. It seems like it should be 41 times because 2^41 * .1 mm gives around 2.2 * 10^8 meters.

No, it's more of an exercise in how statistics can be shaped to say anything we want, and this is probably the most literal example of it.

Um this is very wildly stereotypical, exactly like Jigglypuff's. Also a small subset of people.

How old do you have to be to qualify for 'death of old age'? Is there a minimum age?

I call my Ditto Xerox since it can make copies of Pokémon! Plus copied papers are sometimes referred to as "dittos" so it works.

It also has a great personality and would thank you not to judge it solely on its looks.

On Unreal Tournament, I downloaded a mod which effectively allows me to blow myself up like a kamikaze pilot.
I'm getting good at it with practice, unlike people in real life.

I think the term is "natural death" rather than "death of old age" - the latter is colloquial. Otherwise, your heart basically has only so many times it can tick, and once it's done ticking then you die. I've heard a story of a dude's wife who died at the age of 50 from "natural causes" that amounted to that.
