I got a scam email yesterday saying that Microsoft is suspending all Hotmail accounts if they don't click a link sent in the email.

I know this is a scam, because the link was a Tinyurl link. Microsoft would never use them in emails.

The website that the link sends you to is https://rccgthelordsceptre.org/ck/hotMAIL. The Tinyurl link is http://tinyurl.com/yd6gdw8n. Avoid clicking these links in your emails.

I would have informed everyone about this yesterday, but the internet at my hostel isn't very reliable, so I couldn't do much about it.

I thought it may be worth mentioning that you need to be careful when clicking any links sent to you in emails, even if they don't appear in your spam folder. You never know where they may lead.

Always remember to keep your accounts on any websites secure.
