Haha, I don't think you were the only one. I seem to remember a few people being over-kicked.

Does the IRC channel still run? I deleted the client I was using yeeaaars ago.

It's weird to think I've grown up as a semi-regular visitor here though, and all these memories of IRC were actually years after my time on it with Kat, Branc, GM, DanDan, Phil and...err...the others.

You used to make me laugh so hard! Remember Paul? And his weird flip-out?

I am.. 99% certain Branc is a woman. I'm 1% unsure of whether I'm mixing her up with another username.. but no, I'm more or less certain she's a woman. Unless it's Daughter Of Wily I'm getting mixed up with..

Branc is most definately a dude. He stopped talking to me a long while before I left.

Actually.. are Kat (from IRC who iirc dated Maikeru) and Wrath of Cubone one and same..? This is where I get muddled up, when people share the same name and I can't use their usernames to differentiate between them..

Yeah, I ran away to Canada with Maikeru for a little while. Lol, my rebellious teenage years take some beating. My dad wasn't too impressed. Nowadays, I'm settled with my (English) boyfriend and Maikeru is getting married.

Well i think they hit like 500 times in one day or something as a record lol the joke needed to die at some point, I swear they were going to print a picture of me and kick it at a meet (because you know, American etc)

Man, I think this was like '04/'05, when I first started using IRC. His username was teamrocket something. He just flipped out over IRC one day and deleted his account on PUK. I don't think there was even a reason.

A lot of the people I used to interact with through PUK are on Facebook so I don't feel out of touch... Which is nice and all but it does make me lazy in that I just read statuses and don't bother talking to anyone any more : P

Oh god, I have a vague memory of photoshopping (well MS painting) someone's head onto the fanart image of a seductive rocket girl and using it as my signature. Maybe it was him. I did AOL chat (lol) with someone with a name like that way back then.

It was pretty big.  It was a fandom-wide NetBattle tournament.

Oh I remember Marathon Across Netbattle, a bunch of sites took part didn't they? I remember that Serebii did, but can't think of others.. Didn't CS10 win that? I remember he did well, at least.

Yeah Alex got really far, but I forget who won.  A random thing I remember is that round one, I forget which site it was but there were a whopping 4 matches that were intra-site, so immediately like 4 people from one site (at least) got knocked off first round.

I was one burn away from advancing to the next round.  Never Forget
