Secret Base QR Codes
« on: July 09, 2014, 12:39 »
It seems that in Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, you can share your secret bases with others via QR codes.
Maybe we can share ours here when the games are released.

Make a Dropbox account and PM me the link to your QR code, I'll then add the image to Flickr and link to it here.
Alternatively, you could email me (I'll send you my email via PM) and send me the QR code image.

Seems like a great idea.

Your bases can now be customized by old favorites like dolls and rugs, and I've also heard you can change wall color too. Best part, you can set the rules for battles in your base, so it's like you're running your own gym. I'm also pretty sure other people can access this from streetpass (Get walking) and maybe spotpass (QR code).

This is looking exciting.

This is very cool, but I have a horrible feeling that it's the new pokemon followers - well loved by all but taken out in the next games anyway.

I'm intrigued by the creating rules thing, I doubt it'll be very good, probably just picking clauses and format and the like, but if they add sufficient customisation that could be a really cool feature!

I've also noticed some new items like the jukebox in the one pic. Maybe we can change the BGM inside the Secret Base with it?

Streetpass as well, which is the sort of Streetpass feature XY really deserved. X3

Kinda hope there are more spots to make Bases too, since a lot of the Popular spots get taken...

I would imagine there would be an option to save your friends' secret bases. Then new bases that aren't at the same spot as a saved base would overwrite the previous person's spot. Sort of like in Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
