So I've had my results today but I don't understand what I'm looking at and I'm having to wait another week in order to find out if I have gotten my maths GCSE. I'm fairly certain that I've gotten into my second choice but I think I have enough points to get into my first?

I currently can't afford a drawing tablet, so I use my 3ds xl with pokemon art academy as one.
(Works well, I use miiverse to get them to my pc instead of taking the micro SD out, which is a pain.)

The point is is that It seems I'm always low on money, no matter how much I'm making

had freshman orientation today. why the hell is it so big it's a high school

Trust me, after the crippling fear of the first few weeks subsides and you learn your way around, it's a lot better than middle school.

My dog screwed up one of the cables for m mom's TV so now I can't watch eggball tonight and talk to you wonderful lot.

my high school was 4,000 kids. trust me, the size will be a blessing. you'll find out when you get to college and you learn how awful high school was for people with like 50 kids in their graduating class.

I know what German is but apparently Justin Bieber doesn't!

How can he not know? His surname is German after all!

My friends keep going out and not telling me or inviting me, how nice of them

Yeah so basically just staying home and crying every 4/5 minutes because my friends don't even want to see me has been the entirety of my summer so far.

Can't wait to get uni where my friends might actually turn out to be genuine

Just finished 1984. First part was good, the second was confusing and the third dragged my head around and made me have an existential crisis, plus I hated the ending. At least it wasn't a stereotypical, happy ending.  :P

well, i don't know if you've gotten to the part in school yet where you learn more euro history, but that's really really key to understanding the book. if you haven't taken a serious euro history course yet i encourage you to do so and then you'll understand and like the ending imo. i read 1984 when i was 12 and i thought it was like... alright... but then when i read it again at 18 i understood everything.

i gotta ask though because its my favorite question among those i meet who read the book for school or something: what would be in your room 101? mine would be bees stinging me to over and over to death haha maybe put me on a high balance beam where i could fall down and injure myself but not die while the bees are out too.

They don't offer a course like that at my HS, so i'll probably have to wait until I go off to uni. As for my Room 101, it would probably involve either jumping into a pit of spiders or taking it into the sky during a storm and make me plummet to my death from there.

blaze i'd recommend reading animal farm with analysis of the allegory alongside it because tbh it's not 100% u know it now but it gives you a very very good gist of what's going on in 1984 and what the allegory there is

my room 101 would probably involve wasps and like irl jumpscares that move just little enough for there to be an element of suspense and then they jump and each time everything is dormant for a little bit longer or shorter than expected so that it's a massive source of startlement when it happens.

thanks gl <3

A course I need to take so I can begin taking my graduate courses is full and the folks in charge still don't know if they'll open up more seats or another version of the class.
Also, my computer is stuck on the "Keep your PC on until this is done." screen. Been like that for almost 3 hours.

Did I mention I built a PC? I built a PC. Still the Mac Ninja, but I use the tools of rivals to play games and stuff.
