Have you ever been on a website like Yahoo Answers and found absolutely ridiculous questions that other people have asked?

I saw a Youtube video the other day listing the top 10 stupid questions people asked on the internet and some are really stupid.

Someone asked why there hasn't been any astronauts on the sun yet and suggested that they could go at night or in the winter, when the sun wasn't as hot!

Seriously, how can anyone be that dense?
This came to mind while posting.

Lord Raven

I've heard a bunch on other forums I go to.

Should mentally disabled people be blocked off from society?

Will World War 3 cause the end of humanity?

Was Hitler a great leader?

Why can't science and technology stop playing god?

HM:  y r girls so hot

I hate to admit it, but I actually ask myself the same question from time to time.

I know a mentally disabled person who destroyed my DS, just because he was angry. He wasn't angry at me or my DS, he was just angry. He decided to destroy it just for the sake of destroying something.

Safe to say, I'm absolutely FURIOUS with him for it.

So I actually see that as a valid question, not a stupid one.

Therefore we should put them in internment camps or something and revoke their human rights because they're mentally disabled?  Or what?

I'm very interested to hear why you think this is a stupid question.

I wouldn't go that far, I'd just put them with other mentally disabled people who don't care if their stuff gets destroyed in front of them.

We should get back on topic now!

So you're still closing them off from society, and therefore revoking them of any human rights.  For a pretty shallow reason.

You're also generalizing the mentally disabled as destructive human beings.  I've met plenty and I haven't seen it happen much either.

We're discussing whether or not what I proposed were stupid questions, were in fact stupid questions.  I don't see how this is off-topic.

- Genocide against an entire race of people
- Wanting total fascism in the name of the great Aryan race
- Good public speaking != good leadership
- Manipulation of the people in their weakened state so he could basically commit to his incredibly messed up beliefs
- The Blitzkrieg was unsustainable, and questionable command over how to take over Russia and rejecting any sort of support from any Russian-invaded territory

I sincerely think that advocating and performing genocide followed by the preservation of one particular faction of one particular race by in large makes you an awful leader.  Especially since his actions also hindered the development of his master race by the end of it all.  He's in reality a dirtbag who seized on depression to gain power then perform one of the worst actions known to mankind with his power.

He then declared war on the world which further screwed his own people.  He committed suicide instead of owning up to the atrocities he had committed in the name of some stupid Third Reich crap.

The only thing Hitler had on his side was propaganda.

EDIT:  I would like to further note that Donald Trump is advocating a lot of stuff very similar to what Hitler did to the Jews, such as labeling all Muslims in the country and putting them into a database.  You know, for security purposes.

There is a very good reason that the Hitler comparison works here.  To demonstrate how much of a crappy person Donald Trump is.  And I don't think any of us would brand Donald Trump a good leader, either.

Another stupid question:  "Do vaccines cause autism in children?"

The original paper which posed the question and provided the initial evidence was actually rebuked by the author of said research paper a few years afterwards.

Still doesn't stop articles like this from occurring:  http://thinkingmomsrevolution.com/vaccines-caused-sons-autism/

I mean, honestly?  Don't let the facts get in the way of your opinions.  Because this small strain of an incredibly dangerous disease that trains your immune system to fight against it is definitively what causes autism.  Autism is, after all, some sort of weird infectious disease your brain can catch which somehow sticks with you for the rest of your life.

Hope I don't have to put a /s after that paragraph.

Also,

"Is Obama a Muslim?"
"Was Obama born in the United States?"
"Did Obama organize some military demonstrations in Texas so he could train his own personal army to invoke Martial Law on the United States and take over as dictator?"
"Can jet fuels melt steel beams?"
"Were the Jews behind 911?"

The list goes on.  It's very hard to figure out who is and isn't being ironic.

That is definitely done as a joke

I personally thought hitler was pretty bad but its open to interpretation. this is coming from someone who isn't a fan of genocide though

Lord Raven

I dunno, all of them sound pretty ludicrous but you'll still find people asking those dumbass questions.
