Yeah, it sounded a bit similar to the first themes but with a new thing with it. I think there was some kind of bass or rhythm guitar in there, along with some old fashioned computer-y sounds. I like that it laid off the orcastra piece for they electronic sounds. I hope this becomes the new theme too.

That is pretty awsome fair play. So retro but at the same time not so retro. If anyone gets me?

Its on Saturday!! I've seen a few trailers and it looks good.

Where are all these negative reports coming from?

The Internet Hate Machine, no doubt.

Edit: Just watched it. I'm so happy, Steven Moffat better stay for a long time. The episode wasn't tedious and it just stank of awesomeness. I did not spot one cliché and it was so original.

^ Is Riversong's screw driver. His doesn't look quite like this yet, but I'm guessing it will some time in the future.

That was actually epic. Brilliant performance from Matt Smith. He fit's the part so well, bringing his own touch into it. I absolutely love the new Doctor's attitude.

Karen Gillian is also rather tasty indeed. Not surprised she's a Kiss-o-gram! Glad she's not going to have this romantic sort of relationship with the Doctor that Russel T Davies put in that kinda ruined the feel of the show.

I think it's clear that Steven Moffet is bringing alot of retroness back and referring more to the previous series and not just the 2005 series. We had images of all previous Doctor's and monsters from the old series. As well as that, retroness in the title sequence and music as well...

Interesting how the Doctor refers to the swimming pool and library in the old tardis, despite no appearence or even mention of it previously. But I absolutely love the new set out of the Tardis. Very exciting stuff indeed. Alot more to it this time. If you didn't watch confidential, I'd suggest you do as you get a really epic guide to the Tardis.
Yes.

ahaaa, bit spiffy, yes.
I've gone from not disliking matt smith as the doctor to really liking him as the doctor.
Glad that's out of the way, now I can enjoy the rest of the series :V
still not sure about the outfit, but hey ho.
if it's true that he was originally going to be pirates-of-the-caribbeany, then i'm not going to complain too much about professor-of-latin.

Some rather spiffy lines.. and.. yeah, bit silly. bit mad.
not entirely sure about ms pond yet, but hey. Better than rose. here's me hoping for no falling in love this time round. I'm pretty sure they were kissing in one of the trailers, but that seems to be a given for companions by now. And I think i've read in more than one place that it won't be a romantic relationship, so that's nice.

I like eccentric doctor.
faster than light travel with two diagrams.. and a joke.
And anyone who doesn't like baked beans is already winning points.

sonic screwdriver attention-seeking is a bit nifty.
explosions and out of control mobility scooters, huzzah

I love the new tardis.
steampunky. typewriter and taps and gramophone horn. And.. oil. staircases.
Concur with LT about confidential tardis tour. Do wish they didn't feel the need to use so many.. artistic camera angles in that, though. Camera was zooming around and I just wanted it to stop moving so i could have a look at the set |:
will be good to see more of it though.

So... yes. I approve.
of viperfish alien, also.

I really like the New Doctor. My other half, on the hand, doesn't like him and spout out "He's not my doctor". You concluded that in 20 minutes, where the actual plot haven't kicked in, so that's rather a crap opinion. He's an eccentric, humorous doctor and I personally like him.

The episode was great. Loved it at the start where he was trying out all these food to satisfy his cravings, yet he keeps spitting it out. I laughed when he fling a plate outside. The plot was great and I liked the new assistant. Can't wait for the next one.
