tbh i dont see a whole lot of that, at least in the circle of people i know rape as seen as a horrible horrific thing, and in some cases like tv shows, the worst thing that can happen to a woman. i also remember hearing several times that convicted rapists are almost the lowest down on the prison hierarchy, only higher than child molesters. 
 
but im not denying it happens, and yeah its ridiculous that victims are blamed for it in the same way that its daft to say its somebodys fault for getting mugged because they spend money. 
 
fear not im not accusing you of anything... in reality its more that ive been exposed to quite a bit of radical feminism and man-hating and men-cant-be-feminists and its-acceptable-for-women-to-hate-men so ive gotten into a state where i lay emphasis on things going both ways in retaliation. 
so its just where i spend time, likely to make me a bit skewed. sorry about that. 
 
like theres a mindset of The Patriarchy which is often viewed as an evil oppressive force cooked up by a group of men sitting in a meeting over how best to oppress women, and feminism still recycling statistics like the 77% wage gap and 1 in 12 statistic, which are taken from misinterpreted data or unfair studies and so arent quite true. 
not to mention that one of my best friends used to be a radfem and i wasnt supposed to say anything about her saying that she hates men ololol. think shes calmed down a bit now though. 
and also bc mens rights are less likely to be taken seriously at all in a lot of places i frequent, probably not helped by people like /b/. 
i worry that i come across as anti-feminism. 
im not, im just anti-anti-mens-rights?? 
i encounter fewer anti-feminists but they get the same treatment. 
almost certainly due to where i hang out (not /b/ for one, ha). 
 
everyone here seems to be sound regarding all of that though so i can take off my preachy hat.

Last night I thought would have finally led to us being together. We talked for hours, felt like it was the summer again. I know you like me back... I just feel like you're too bothered by stuff. Well, we haven't talked for well over a year, you got with someone none of us liked, you changed a lot very quickly and soon you stopped talking to boys all together and would blank every boy except him.

So I sent you a message earlier, I wasn't really reaching out for friendship or anything more, I was just trying to ask you something trivial and generally pretty important, I left a window there for you to carry the chat onwards though.

The thing is, I miss talking to someone and helping them out and being there to listen and things, I haven't done it for years and it was nice helping you and I miss when we all used to be friends and when you would come onto my friend and make it awkward for yourselves, it added character to the group and it was enjoyable.

Then again, one of the guys fell madly in love with you and would often start arguments by being an idiot about it and it would generally be a hostile environment to be in and the day would feel ruined etc...

So yeah, I hope that you're going to be civil about things and not ignore me since in all fairness, I haven't done anything.
