Lord Raven

I got these off of smogon's facebook page btw

HP Atk Def Spd SAtk SDef
Steelix    75 125 230  30   55   95
Glalie     80 120  80 100  120   80
Swampert  100 150 110  70   95  110
Sceptile   70 110  75 145  145   85

I guess post any others you see.

btw i had a bit of a moment cause I kept going "HP Str Mag skl Spd Lck Def Res" and I put Def in SAtk's spot.  I won't explain why lol

I'd like to note that Mega Glalie is marginally viable now and Mega Steelix doesn't really impress me.

EDIT:

Has a whole ton of leaks.  Including the base stats of the Pokemon.  I am busy but I'll edit my post with all of the base stat changes later.

Mega Steelix's boost seem to have gone mostly into attack.  I'm OK with this.

I'm glad Mega Glalie's boost isn't equally shared between it's stats like it's base form, should be an intresting change.

Swampert's boost makes me sad it's getting Swift Swim.  Would have been great last gen but now seems like a waste. :(

Lord Raven

I dunno, Swampert's pretty capable of hitting 400 to 468 speed with Swift Swim, though I have no idea if that's enough anymore.

Why didn't I know this thread was here :( Now to delete my post in the other thread.

I like the idea of Mixed Sceptile. Should be good at wallbreaking and stuff.

Is Hidden Power even really viable anymore?  It has all of 60 bp with no STAB...  Unless you use it against like Abomasnow or something.

It's certainly much less so, but it's still used if y have no choice but to use it. In the case of M-Sceptile, it will need it for full special sets certainly as without HP Fire M-Scizor is free to switch in (Focus Blast doesn't even 2HKO).

On that set, however, HP Fire would be very meh without substantial investment, I can't help feeling that slot would be better filled with Earthquake.

With no investment HP Fire does 47% - 56% to 252 HP / 4 Sp.Def Skarmory, a little bit of investment would put it in guaranteed 2HKO range. It's meant to be a wallbreaker so beating Pokémon like Skarmory is important, and Earthquake obviously does nothing to it unless it uses Roost.

I'm glad to see Steelix can do something now rather than sitting there watching the foe's HP slowly go down.

I am afraid... you have never heard of Sheer Force and Life Orb Steelix.

I updated the OP with some leaks that people found upon digging into the data of the ORAS demo.

Richard and Blaziken

Mega Swampert is weaker than Mega Blaziken. I'm just gonna let that absurd comment sink in. Mega Swampert is going to be awful. Slightly more defensive than Swampert at the cost of Leftovers. Less powerful than Life Orb/Choice Band Swampert, and marginally faster than normal Swampert (tying with Bisharp and Breloom of note, and Breloom kills it anyway). Such a huge disappointment. Not to mention the design is awful.

That aside, Mega Sceptile looks like it'll be good. Mega Steelix is going to be pretty meh. Anything reliant on weather is unreliable at best, and his Sp. Defense and Speed are still terrible.

Mega Glalie looks usable, which is more than I could ever say about Glalie.

The stats for the Megas are generally very good. Mega Beedrill is very fast, Mega Rayquaza is utterly OP, Mega Sharpedo has decent stats, Mega Gallade has very nice attack, Mega Sableye has okay-ish stats. Otherwise, they're all solid.

Notice how Hoopa has different stats. Supposed mega? It looks okay, and the stats are impressive.

Those "leaks" are wrong, I'd wager, given that Origin Wave / Precipice Blades have different powers, but more importantly Dragin's Ascent has 120 BP when blocked says it is "the most powerful flying-type move", in this case Sky attack would eclipse it by 20 points.

Edit: Also dragon's ascent is a tutor move? Doesn't seem right to me

That's a rather pedantic way of contradicting the fact that these aren't leaks so much as actually probing the in-game data in the demo.  So no, these aren't wrong, these are 100% correct.  And two unique moves can have different power - Shadow Rush, Roar of Time, and Spacial Rend are all very different moves despite being unique moves of a specific trio.  The three moves in this case have different effects in 2v2 battles.

At any rate, Sky Attack does 70 damage average over 2 turns, so technically this is the most powerful one.  It's basically a flying type Close Combat.
